OFF THE BEATEN PATH
FARGONE was founded in 2017 on a mountain goat hunt in the heart of the British Columbian wilderness. Three hunters and one filmmaker set out on their first goat hunt with a mission to push themselves, live out a story worth telling, and capture it through the medium of film.
Fast forward a few hunting seasons to present day and FARGONE has become a production company dedicated to telling wilderness stories. Driven by a desire for adventure, we seek to capture the beauty of far away places and the people that explore them. We have been living out of backpacks, looking on to distant peaks, chasing wild animals, and sometimes getting chased by them. We embrace the discomfort that often comes along with expeditions and seek out places where others are not willing to go to find compelling stories.
FARGONE exists to share the wilderness that can be found off the beaten path and to tell the stories of those participating in it.
BASED IN CANADA
Fargone is based in Chilliwack, British Columbia or as we like to call it, “the land of milk and honey.” BC is a hunting meca, containing a variety of species from white tail and mule deer, to hardy mountain game such as goats and three of the four species of big horn sheep. Not only this but there are over the counter tags that make it possible to go after these species year after year. Chilliwack is also parked beside some world class salmon running rivers, with an extensive alpine range right in our backyard that holds many hunting and fishing opportunities.
At Fargone, we believe in stewarding the land that we call home. We want to support our local conservation and tell stories to promote it.
